What We Do
Works of the Heart Programs
Methodist Hospital Foundation raises, protects and distributes funds that improve health care for you, your family and friends. Our priorities include expanding cardiac and cancer programs, creating a specialty hospital for women, and supporting health care education. Best of all, 100 percent of every gift benefits the program or project you choose – not one cent pays for administrative costs.
Works of the Heart are programs supported by Methodist Hospital Foundation that are divided into four 'purpose' areas: Cancer Care, Charitable Care, Community Service and Education. Learn more about the programs in each purpose area by clicking on the links located on the left hand side of this page.
More than 20,000 individuals each year are touched by your gifts to the Works of the Heart programs. Thousands more benefit indirectly through research, community health awareness and training for health care professionals.
Outcomes
$1,456,436.11 has been distributed through Works of the Heart programs as of June 30, 2010, benefiting 15,598 people.
