Tee Off and Help Two Special Families Raise Money for Cancer ResearchMartineau Family
After the loss of Don Martineau to terminal brain cancer, his family organized an annual charity golf tournament. The first two “Fight to Win” Don Martineau Charity Golf Classics have raised over $46,000 for brain tumor research. The 2008 tournament will be held Monday, September 29 at Platteview Country Club in Bellevue, Nebraska.

Lindahl Family
In March 2005, Golf Pro Brad Lindahl was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. Along with Champions Run Golf Course and many friends, Brad and his life partner Nan organized the First Annual Brad Lindahl Cancer Research Invitational in 2005. It was such a success, Brad and Nan decided to make it an annual event. In only three years, this tournament has raised almost $72,000 for Methodist Estabrook Cancer Center. Though Brad is no longer with us, his legacy remains with this tournament. The 2008 tournament will be held Monday, October 6 at Champions Run Golf Course in Omaha.
