| Ruby Cohn is the 2007 Heart and Dove Award honoree. The Heart and Dove Award honors an individual who has shown an extraordinary quality of caring through volunteer service. This award recognizes outstanding voluntary service and initiative in voluntary leadership as well as a special quality of love and caring.  |
Steve McWhorter received the 2007 J.D. Anderson Leadership Award. The award is given in memory of J.D. Anderson, the first chairman of the Methodist Hospital Foundation Board of Directors. The award honors individuals who have modeled dedication to the community and/or Methodist Health System.  |
Elizabeth ‘Betsy’ Murphy received the F.E. Borchers Community Service Award. It is given in memory of F.E. Borchers, Methodist Hospital Foundation’s first secretary and recognizes exemplary service to Methodist Health System while demonstrating good character and strong spirit in the community.  |
The Methodist Hospital Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANE) were given The Spirit of Philanthropy Award. This award is presented to foundations, corporations and/or organizations that embody the spirit of philanthropy by demonstrating vision and passionate commitment to the community and the mission of the Methodist Hospital Foundation.  |
