Brad Lindahl Cancer Research Invitational Will Be Held October 6th, 2008The recent Third Annual Brad Lindahl Cancer Research Invitational raised $28,000 for Methodist Estabrook Cancer Center. The 4th Annual Brad Lindahl Cancer Research Invitational is on Monday, October 6, 2008. Call Nan Fritz at (402) 306-4615 for reservations.
In March 2005, Golf Pro Brad Lindahl was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. Though he was facing an uncertain future, along with months of radiation and chemotherapy treatments, Brad and his partner Nan Fritz turned their thoughts to others that might face their situation. They wanted to provide hope for future cancer patients by raising awareness and helping to find a cure for cancer.
Along with Champions Run Golf Course and many friends, Brad and Nan organized the First Annual Brad Lindahl Cancer Research Invitational in 2005. It was such a success, Brad and Nan decided to make it an annual event. In only three years, this tournament has raised almost $72,000 for Methodist Estabrook Cancer Center.
God welcomed Brad home on February 2, 2008. Brad’s legacy of caring and his determination to help find a cure for cancer will live on through this tournament.
