Karen achieved her dream of becoming a nurse thanks to help from the $5,000 Presidential Scholarship offered by Methodist Hospital Foundation. One day at a school career fair, she discovered Nebraska Methodist College. “They were interested in ME as a person,” says Karen. “I ended up turning down a full-ride scholarship to another college, and enrolled at Nebraska Methodist College. It just felt like home to me!” “As part of my thanks to the Foundation and their donors, I fully intend to stay in Omaha and give back to our community.”

With your help, Methodist Hospital Foundation supports Nebraska Methodist College - The Josie Harper Campus as it seeks to provide excellence in health care education. More than 500 students will receive educational training for nursing and allied health careers, and more than 9,000 health care professionals will receive required continuing education each year.
